Best forms of government....Well, the most important thing is for the basic human rights to be upheld at all times. That means I get free speech, and freedom, among other things. Secondly, Rules of the game that will encourage steady economic growth, such as property rights. So what is the best form of government, I would have to say democracy. Pure democracy, Represented Democracy is outdated, there is not the same information gap as in the old days when that type of democracy was formed.
When Jesus sets up His reign on earth, He will not set up a democracy. There is an element where democracy is based on compromise in order to obtain the general or optimum good of those the govt represents. These compromises can cause problems in time.
A representative government can get into trouble when those who have persuasive arguments get into power. Even someone who is not worthy of leading a country can persuade the general populace through their words that he should be their leader.
Whatever the form of government, it should come to the aid of those who are oppressed and give a just recompense for work that is performed.
